A Fistful of Demons OUT TODAY

 Hey everyone!

The weird western anthology A Fistful of Demons, co-edited by Ryan Williamson, author of the epic western horror novel The Widow's Son, is NOW AVAILABLE on Amazon in e-book format.

The anthology includes my story, A Reunion on Bloody Island:

Orphaned when she was just a girl, Penny grew up among the Lakota who took her in as their own. But when the ravenous dead poured into the Great Plains to drive the foreign settlers from the land, she was forced to flee, whether her people accepted her or not. Separated from the newly wed husband who promised to bring her back home, Penny is confined to a U.S. refugee camp miles from the militarized border on the Mississippi River. With the help of a mysterious stranger serving an unsavory patron, Penny makes a deal to get across and back to her husband and the rest of her family. What Penny doesn't realize is that the deal she made just might be with the devil.

Check it out here. Print copies will be available in the future.

*Update: Now available in hardcover and paperback!*

Troubadour Magazine: Pandemic Issue

I should have posted this a while ago, but life got in the way. I've been collaborating with other creative types on the most recent issue of Troubadour Magazine, a literary magazine founded by Kirk Barbera. Troubadour is dedicated to preserving and promoting the Western Canon of literature while striving to emulate the style and substance of the classics in new and original works as well.

The essence is reflected in the magazine's motto:

"That all may know the Good, The Beautiful and The True."

This most recent issue is dedicated to the theme of pandemics, plagues, and other forms of contagion and our response to these events.

I contributed a couple of pieces to the issue, including a brand new story called "The Inside Woman."

The magazine is available for purchase online and in print. Get it today!
